Yamaha Explorer Seascooter
Designed for our younger swimmers, snorkelers and divers, the Yamaha Explorer Seascooter offers enormous amounts of fun to younger Seascooters users in the water, at speeds of up to 2.5mph. The Seascooter can be used on the waters surface, without putting your head underwater… Offering an experience similar to being pulled by a ‘small electric dolphin’. The Seascooter is both light, cost effective and easy to look after too! The battery is sealed in a watertight compartment of the Seascooter, but easily accessible for removal and recharging. Batteries are fully interchangeable too, meaning you can purchase additional batteries and extended the duration of usage throughout the day if you wished to.
For the braver young swimmers, the Yamaha Explorer can let children trial ‘short dives’ below the water to create imaginary adventures, as they glide beneath the water’s surface. This is a lot of fun in a swimming pool, where mini games can be created to maximise the experience of their new underwater activity. Offering a depth rating of 30ft (10m), this Seascooter is ideal for use in private swimming pools, taking on holiday or visiting a beach when the water is calm and there aren’t big waves or strong currents. Adult supervision is an absolute must at all times, and the product should be used sensibly in suitable bodies of water, which aren’t as dangerous to a young Seascooter user whilst being appropriately supervised at all times during use.
Minor Maintenance to preserve the condition of your New Seascooter
The Yamaha Explorer is easy to maintain and should be washed down with fresh water after use in chlorine or saltwater. Periodic checks, making sure to keep the O-ring on the nose cone kept clean and lightly re-greased with silicone grease (included) will help you to get longevity from your new Seascooter.
Battery maintenance is key to making sure your Seascooter runs well for years to come.
It is advisable to never leave the battery connected when the Seascooter is not in use, and the discharged battery should be recharged as soon as possible (ideally within 48hrs) after you’ve finished with your Seascooter too. Should the Seascooter not be used for an extended period or put into storage, the battery should be fully charged prior and revisited every 3-months approx. to top the battery level back up to full before returning the disconnected battery/seascooter back into storage. This will help you maintain the peak condition of your Yamaha Explorer Seascooter. If looked after the Yamaha Explorer should give you many years of fun.
